Founded in 1832, the school is the oldest in the Northampton Diocese. It draws children from the Roman Catholic Parish of Aston-le-Walls, which consists of about 20 villages in south-west Northamptonshire, and from the surrounding neighbourhood including the Roman Catholic Parish of Daventry.

Aston-le-Walls is a small rural village, just off the A361, 6 miles from Banbury and 10 Miles from Daventry.
